Congressional Website Greeting

Statement

Date: Jan. 1, 2016
Issues: Elections

Greetings,

Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is John Adams and I am the Republican nominee for the United States House of Representatives in the Third Congressional District of Ohio (Columbus area).

I would like to thank the voters of the Third Congressional District of Ohio for nominating me as their Republican candidate and I am also honored to have received many thousands of more votes from Independents and cross-over Democrats.

Our campaign to defeat Democrat Congresswoman Joyce Beatty officially begins. I will work as hard as I can to bring to the light of day what Mrs. Beatty stands for, who is a loyal supporter of President Obama and Hillary Clinton.

Many of my supporters have asked what they can do to help us win in November. I will address that request at the conclusion of these remarks.

Perhaps you might agree with me that we, as Americans, are losing our liberties on a daily basis. We have a porous southern border. Our armed forces have been de-constructed to levels before World War II. Our veterans are receiving poor health care. We have lost our privacy. We have lost our freedom of speech, our freedom of assembly and our right to believe as we wish. We do not control our health care decisions. With a $19 Trillion dollar National debt, our economy is on the verge of a major collapse.

As for me, I believe in identifying our national problems and offering specific solutions and actions necessary to restore our God-given freedom and liberty and restoring our nation to what it should be for all Americans.

Unlike my Democrat opponent, Joyce Beatty, I am not a career politician, nor do I want to be. I am not funded by any special money interests, Washington lobbyists, PACs, nor Super PACs.

Unlike my opponent, who represents her special money interests and Washington lobbyists, I am not controlled by those people, or organizations. I will represent you in Congress.

My proposals and actions contrast with my Democrat opponent, who will not support any of the legislative actions that I am proposing. There is truly a clear and distinct difference between our positions on national policies.

For example, Mrs. Beatty voted for the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP), which is a massive job killer for our fellow American workers, both union and non-union, alike. She voted to support the Iran nuclear deal, which provides a path to nuclear weapons and the destruction of Israel. She voted to continue the funding of Planned Parenthood, which kills unborn babies and butchers their baby body parts for sale. Her vote helped Planned Parenthood to continue to use our American tax dollars to fund Democrat candidates, like her.

Please access the important issues that I have identified on this website that affect you and your family. If elected, I will proceed to the floor of the House of Representatives and propose the specific legislation. I will then shepherd those proposals through the House committees and eventually back to the floor of the House in order to be voted upon by the entire House of Representatives. If the legislation is passed, I will work with our United States Senators to ensure that the legislation is passed there and sent to the President's desk for signature into law.

Please take a few moments to see if you agree with these proposals and the actions necessary to restore our liberty in America.

If you agree with these proposals and wish to help in our campaign, that would be welcome, but I do not seek your contributions; I am self-funding my campaign. What I do ask is for you to forward our campaign website address to your family and friends, through social media, such as e-mails, Facebook, Twitter and the like.

If you help to elect me as your Representative in Congress, I intend to go there to provide leadership that is goal-oriented. I will not go to Congress to help manage the status quo, nor the decline and fall of the greatest nation on Earth.

I will go to Washington to help restore our liberty for our nation to its historic virtues of respecting individual privacy, independence, freedom and according to Jefferson, our God-given unalienable rights.

Thank you for your consideration.
